Mt Tam
Home Up

On August 18th we went for a ride to Mt. Tamalpias up by Marin. The original plan was to hook up with some of the SF crew and make the journey over the Golden Gate bridge, through Sausalito, and up to Mt. Tam. Everything started out cool with FLCSC riding accross the Bay Bridge, but when we got to the meeting point we quickly figured out we were going it alone. The ride through Sausalito was awesome. Mount Tam was nice, except the crushed gravel road looks like debris that you don't want to find in a tight corner. We decided to take the Richmond Bridge back, making it a three bridge ride, and view oh-so-lovely Richmond and El Cerrito. Let me tell you, the Richmond Bridge is a million times more freaky than the Bay Bridge. Let alone riding it on the VBA.
